Jean-Luc Bredas elected into the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science
Congratulations to Jean-Luc Bredas for being elected into the International Academy of Quantum Molecular Science. The academy was established in 1967 and consists of an elected bureau that serves a three-year term. Members are chosen according to the value of their scientific work and the degree of their leadership within the field of quantum mechanics.

Summer 2011 Undergraduate Visiting Scholar - Curtis Doiron

Curtis comes to us through CMDITR’s research experience for undergraduates (REU) program. He is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma. Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics hosting visiting scholars from Japan during rebuilding process
In light of the recent tragedy in Japan, Georgia Tech’s Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics (COPE), headed by faculty members Bernard Kippelen, Jean-Luc Bredas, Seth Marder, and Joseph Perry, have facilitated an effort to host graduate students from Tohoku University while their home institution is in the rebuilding process. Hiroyuki Naiki and Norio Tagawa arrived at Georgia Tech on April 20th and will remain with us through mid July of this year.
